Jeremy Jackson Earns All-Conference Honors for Southern Maine
Jackson led the Huskies in several statistical categories including scoring and rebounds. Jackson averaged a team-high 13.2 points per game and 8.4 rebounds per game. Jackson also led the Huskies in field goal percentage shooting 51.3 percent (136-for-265) from the floor and blocked shots at 1.5 per game. Jackson was also fourth in steals at 1.4 per contest.
In the Little East Conference circuit, Jackson was the LEC's seventh leading scorer and second leading rebounder. Jackson was also seventh in field goal percentage and blocked shots.
For the 2012 season, Jackson posted a team-leading seven double-doubles. Jackson's seven double-doubles was the second most in the Little East Conference this season. He scored in double-figures 19 times in 25 contests and had a career and season-best 25 points against Western Connecticut State (January 28) on a 10-for-12 performance from the field. Jackson also grabbed double-digit rebounds on nine occasions with a season and career-best performance of 15 on two occasions.
Southern Maine finished its season with an 11-14 record.
