Erin Holmes was named head coach of the Southern Maine women's golf team in April 2026 after spending two seasons as an assistant coach. A former Division I golfer at Bucknell University, Holmes was the 2023 Maine Women's Amateur Champion and placed in the top-three in 2025, 2024 and 2022.
A former golfer of USM Head Coach Brian Bickford at Greely High School, Holmes was the 2016 State of Maine High School Girls Champion. She then went on to play collegiate golf at Bucknell, where she was a four-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and a 2019 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar.
