Junior shortstop Andrew Olszak has made his impact on and off the field for the University of Southern Maine baseball team with consistent defense, strong performances at the plate, and his unique sense of humor. In 2018 Olszak hit .307 with 179 at bats and 55 hits including 11 doubles, two triples and one home run. He was second on the team in RBI with 37. Olszak had 13 multiple-hit games and seven multiple-RBI games. The University of Southern Maine baseball team opened its 2019 season splitting a pair of games Saturday at the Bantam Baseball Bonanza held at Trinity College.  During its Spring Break games, the No. 12 Huskies have won three straight with victories over Amherst (6-5), Illinois Wesleyan (9-2) and Wisconsin-La Crosse (2-0).

Dairy Queen. I don't think I have ever been there.

 

If you could dis-invent one thing what would it be?

Instagram, I don't have one and I refuse to get one. I don't see the point in it -  name one real picture you see on there.

 

If you could be a member of any tv-sitcom family, what one would you choose?

Family ties, the Keaton family in specific. I mean, I want to be in Seinfeld though.

 

Would you rather leave your hometown forever or stay in your hometown forever?

I'm staying.

You've been given an elephant. You can't get rid of it. What would you do with it?

What else can I do with it? It's living in my backyard.

Amusement park, I would probably get bored after a while watching a wildebeest.
