In a periodic, yet totally random time frame, USM Athletic Communications Intern Brooke Cross (a member of the Huskies' softball team who just collected her 100th career hit (added by her boss), interviews a student-athlete, coach or staff member to get the important questions answered, like, "What's your favorite holiday?" so you can learn more about your peers.

What is your all time favorite movie?
Bridesmaids will always have a special place in my heart. I love Melissa McCarthy and there are so many funny scenes throughout the movie!
What's your favorite holiday and why?
My favorite holiday is the 4th of July. I love that you don't need to buy gifts for anyone and can just enjoy the company of family and friends. Plus, it's usually super warm that day, and we have very few of those in Maine.
What is one of your biggest pet peeves?
One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone scratches their fork on their plate and it makes a screeching noise. It literally makes my teeth hurt.
What skill would you like to master?
I would like to master cooking. Anyone who knows me knows that I can't cook. Pizza, mac n' cheese, and cereal are the few things that I can make.
Who is your go to band or artist when you can't decide on something to listen to?
My go-to artist is Taylor Swift. I know some people call her a snake, but I love her.
What's the furthest you've ever been from home?
Four years ago I went to Paris, France and Madrid, Spain. It was my first time in Europe and it was absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to travel more after I graduate and can afford it.
What is the luckiest thing that has ever happened to you?
The luckiest thing that has ever happened to me was in 5th grade when I won a bike during a local fair. I'm not a very lucky person.

Those who can take sarcasm and those who can't.
What makes a good life?
Having great friendships with both family and friends, as well as being able to laugh through anything.
