President

Mo Raymond - President

From Sanbornton, N.H., Mo is a four-year member of the Huskies' volleyball team.  A nursing major, Mo has earned William B. Wise Scholar-Athlete recognition twice, and is a 2016 Little East Conference Fall Academic Honors.  Mo is also a member of the Huskies' women's indoor and outdoor track & field teams.  She is serving as SAAC president for the second year.  


Vice President

Kim Howrigan- Vice President

A junior on the Huskies' women's basketball team, Kim is an accounting major and is serving as an SAAC officer for the first time.  A 2015-2016 William B. Wise Scholar-Athlete, Kim hails from Fairfield, Vermont.  Moving into a starting role during the 2016-17 basketball season, Kim set career marks in scoring and rebounding as a sophomore. 


Secretary
Nicole Schmitz- Secretary

A member of the women's volleyball team, Nicole has been an active member in SAAC since her freshman year, serving as the Public Relations Officer as a sophomore.  Heading into her junior year at USM, Nicole will be the SAAC's secretary. Majoring in Exercise Science, Nicole is a William B. Wise Scholar Athlete, and earned LEC Fall Academic team honors in 2016. 


Public Relations
 Katie Howe- Public Relations

A guard for the Huskies' women's basketball team, Katie begins her sophomore year as the SAAC's Public Relations Officer.  Katie had a successful rookie season with the Huskies, and balanced her academic responsibilities as a History/Social Sciences major with her duties as a student-assistant in the Athletic Media Relations Department.  A two-time All-State selection at Goffstown HS in basketball, Katie is from New Boston, N.H. 


Event Management Team

Miriam Wood - A goalkeeper for the Huskies' women's lacrosse team, Miriam is from Wakefield, Mass., and is majoring in Mathematics.  Miriam helped USM to a pair of wins last season backstopping the Huskies to wins over UMaine Farmington (20-5), and Rhode Island College (17-3). The 2018 season will be her third year in a Huskies' uniform. 

   
  Sarah Michaud - Heading into her junior season, Sarah is an Education major, earning William B. Wise Scholar-Athlete hnors in 2015-2016, and a spot on the 2016 Little East Conference Fall Academic Team.  A member of USM's defense, Sarah tallied a goal and an assist during the season. 
   
Civic Engagement Team

Mariah Garcia - A member of the women's volleyball team, Mariah is a Social Work major.   One of the team's defensive leaders, Mariah has 279 digs to her career. She has played in 50 matches and 160 sets

 

Ryan Linehan - Beginning his sophomore season, Ryan is a member of the Huskies' baseball team.  A catcher, Linehan is majoring in General Management.  He played his HS baseball at Bedford HS in Bedford, N.H., helping his team to a state title in 2016. 

   
Advisor Samantha Allen - Head women's basketball coach Samantha Allen has served as the SAAC Advisor since 2016, and is in her third year as the Huskies' women's basketball coach.  She was presented with the 2016-2017 President's Award for Civic Engagment for her work with SAAC, and in her role as NCAA LifeSkills lecturer.
