A three-time All-Little East Conference selection (second team in 1996, and first team in 1997 and 1998), and a National Soccer Coaches’ Association of America (NSCAA) All-New England third-team pick in 1997 and 1998, Kelly Wilson Slaven was a four-year member of the Huskies’ women’s soccer team from 1995-1998. Playing in 64 career games as a back, Wilson Slaven has 4 goals and an assist to her credit. 

As a defensive leader for the Huskies, Wilson Slaven served as the team captain in her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. Wilson Slaven is one of three women to have been named captain of the women’s soccer team for three seasons.

Presently a Special Education teacher for the Lamoine Consolidated School, Wilson Slaven graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in History, and then in 2008 with a Master’s of Science in Special Education.  A Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst, Wilson Slaven is a former member of the Maine Autism Leadership Team.
