Sarah McLean, Class of 2003. A two-sport standout, McLean was an All-Little East Conference and NFCA All-Northeast Region softball selection three times during her career. On the softball diamond, McLean finished her career hitting .349 (160 for 458) with 14 home runs and 100 RBI. She is one of the only three players to amass 100 RBI in their USM career, and ranks among the career leaders in numerous  offensive categories. In three seasons (2000-02) with the women’s tennis, McLean compiled a 24-18 record in singles play and captured #4 singles title at the 2002 LEC team titles (2000, 2002). McLean earned her bachelor’s in history. She is a four-year recipient of the William B. Wise Scholar Athlete award and was a two-time Academic All-American District One First Team selection (2002, 2003).
