The first All-American in the Huskies' wrestling program history, Michael Morin is the most decorated athlete to don a USM wrestling uniform.  A four-year starter for the Huskies, Morin earned New England Wrestling Association All-Region honors three consecutive seasons, winning the 165-pound division in 2008, 2009 and 2010.  With his regional championship, Morin earned three consecutive berths to the NCAA Division III National Championship – just the second Husky wrestler to earn a trip to the NCAA's pinnacle event, and the first grappler to earn multiple entries.  As a junior in 2009, after claiming his second consecutive regional championship and berth to the NCAAs, Morin became the Huskies' first wrestling All-American placing fourth overall.  In his final season, Morin was ranked as the top wrestler in the country (at 165 pounds) for a majority of the season and successfully defended his regional championship and repeated as an All-American placing fifth overall at the NCAA Division III Championship.

Named the 2010 Pilgrim League Wrestler of the Year and a three-time Pilgrim League All-Star, Morin was a three-time William B. Wise Scholar-Athlete and was twice selected to the NWCA Scholar All-American team. Morin earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2010.  Morin, currently the head coach of the Huskies' wrestling team, is also a Service Sales Representative at Cintar.  He volunteers his time with Portland Youth Wrestling and Casco Bay Elite Wrestling Club.
