GORHAM, Maine -- Freshman Tyler Jamison (West Gardiner, Maine/Gardiner Area) and sophomore Austin Watts (Westbrook, Maine) each scored four goals to lead the University of Southern Maine Huskies to a 15-2 victory over the visiting Husson University Eagles in non-conference men's lacrosse action Tuesday afternoon at Hannaford Field.

The win improved the Huskies overall record to 2-6 on the season.  The Eagles had a three-game winning streak snapped and fell back to .500 at 3-3.

Junior Burleigh Desjardins (Brunswick, Maine) added three goals while rookie Keegan Smith (West Gardiner, Maine/Gardiner Area) dished out three assists for the Huskies.  Freshman Seth Wing (West Gardiner, Maine/Gardiner Area) chipped in a pair of goals.

Nardelli gave the visitors a 1-0 lead just short of five minutes into the first quarter, and the lead held up until 5:00 remained.  Over the final five minutes, the Huskies got goals from Wing, Jamison, Desjardins and Watts to take a 4-1 advantage after one quarter.
