USM Lacrosse Teams Hosting "Wishes for Weston" Day on Saturday
GORHAM, Maine -- The University of Southern Maine men's and women's lacrosse teams will host "Wishes for Weston" Day this Saturday (April 13) to benefit Weston Lane, son of former USM men's lacrosse head coach Sam Lane, who has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma.
The women's team is hosting Keene State College in the first game of the day starting at noon. The men's game with the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth will follow at 3 p.m.
Each USM player and coach from both teams has purchased a shooting shirt that will be worn during pregame, and then sold with the proceeds from the sale of these t-shirts being donated to Weston.
The will also be table set up during the games for fans to purchase USM t-shirts to benefit the Huskies' programs and make donations to "Wishes for Weston".
