Northwood Blanks Southern Maine 9-0
 WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.  – The Northwood University Seahawks swept all three doubles points en route to a 9-0 win over the University of Southern Maine Huskies in a non-conference men's tennis match Tuesday afternoon in West Palm Beach, Fla.

         With the win, the Seahawks improve to 3-3.  Playing in their second match of the season the Huskies even out at 1-1. 

         Sophomore Guilherme Azambuja (Porte Alegre, Brazil) and senior Mihkel Kruusmagi (Veiimsi, Estonia) led the way for Northwood setting the tone with an 8-3 win over Huskies' senior Zach Caron (North Conway, N.H./Kennett) and sophomore Christopher G. Ross (Somerset, Mass.) at first doubles. 

         In singles action, Azambuja topped Caron 6-0, 6-0 in first singles, while Kruusmagi downed Husky freshman Thaddeus St. John (Weld, Maine/Mt. Blue) 6-2, 6-0. 

         Southern Maine faces UMass Boston on Saturday (1:00 p.m.) on the road for its first Little East Conference contest. Northwood hosts Embry-Riddle on Saturday (1:00 p.m.).
