The pair of losses dropped the Huskies below .500 and extended their losing skid to three.  The Huskies head into the final two weeks of the regular season with a 12-13 overall record.  Wentworth defeated Regis in the first match of the day, 3-1 (25-23, 23-25, 28-26, 27-25), to improve to 18-5.  With the split of its two matches, Regis is 9-14 overall.

In the pivotal third set, the Leopards jumped out to an early lead and maintained it throughout.  Up 17-14, the Leopards closed the third set with an 8-1 run.  Both sides had leads in the final set before Wentworth pulled away from an 18-18 tie to win the match.

Regis took the final match in straight sets.  The Pride took the lead on the third set of the first set and steadily increased their lead throughout the set.  In the second set, the Huskies were a point shy of evening the match before junior Julia Pelland (Brockton, Mass./Norfolk Aggie) had three straight kills to give the Pride a 2-0.  In the final set, the Pride used a 5-1 run late in the set to expand a one-point lead, 15-14, into a five-point advantage.  The Huskies got within three on two occasions, but a Pelland kill closed out the match.
